Task Description : Today for literacy room three read'ed a story about rata & the tree we answered some questions we recieved & learnt so much about respect & knowledge . I really enjoyed doing this it was very fun & interesting I have also did my own story telling and answered them . Enjoy : )

Task Description : Today For our Whare Tapa Wha we did a presentation explaing what kind of facials or emotions we can do in sign language . I did Argue , Mood & lonely I've choosen these because I think it different since everybody does happy sad & angry . Enjoy : ) 

Greek Language Maths

 

Task Description : This is a presentation of greek language we haft to translate our english numbers into greek numbers which are a definetion to Ancient language .

Task Descriotion : This week is sign language week we have learnt how to make a sign in sign language doing a Aotearoa sign . We used the link on the first slide to help us learn the sign language I've also posted a video of me doing it so if you need any help these videos can help you relate to sign language . Enjoy : )

Task Description : Today for maths we did a presentation showing our eqaulvalent fractions so we basically are using multiplication to equal by Two . Enjoy : ) our fun maths 

Tuvalu Facts

 

Task Description : Today on friday room 1 5 & four was welcome to our new 2 guest called molia & marian . They were here to Invite us and welcome us to their culture & tradition . We leant so much like how they make there clothing & mats out of & fou which is speacial to their culture . They showed us a dance & teach us it , it was very fun known in their country & very warming to other people . My favourite part of that whole session was the dance It was very fun because we learnt their traditional dance & more  . 

Astronomers Finds New Planet

 

Task Description : For our next task we got to choose our own article from the on & only kiwi kids news I've learnt that the Astronomers has found a new planet some where in the galaxy around the closest star to the sun . I have enjoyed doing this activity I really hope we can do it again some time. Enjoy : )

Task Description : For Taha wairua room 1 got to learn some fun facts by using google to help us ,since it is maori language week we would love for use to join us for more cool facts  .

Oral Lauguage Follow the cat

 

Task Description : Today Room three we did oral lauguage to follow instruction from our teacher this is a very good way to learn how to listen & follow instructions from the speaker . 

Here is what i've learnt :.?

1. Speaking clearly is a better help to all fhe following instructions.

2. having time to partiipate that you haven't done before . 

3.under standing oral lauguage is much more better than watching video's in usual space .  

Te horeta

 

Task Descrition : For this task me & nahea created a google drawing site of Te Horeta explaining how he met captain hook & his nail he treasured for years . He is a very known man and that has courage for New zealand .

Taha Whanau

 

Task Description : Today room 1 we had completed our  Taha whanau we had to use google drawings or just do a presentation about how we celebrate parties or any event acording to our tradition culture value .

Everyday Theatre

 

Task Description : Last week friday a very kind young woman came into our class & was provided to come here by her own company called Everyday theatre . We played so much games with her that was related to acting , sovling problems & even working together . It was very interesting & unknown But so much fun to it .  

How Tonga its name

ko e  foungo hono ma'u'e Tonga a hono hingoa ( David Riley ) 

This is a story about Maui the superhero ( written by David Riley ) 

Once apon a time there was maui looking everywhere to find a hook he found a store called Tonga the expert fisherman . 

They were having a conversation about what hook is the right one for maui , maui was shocked to see them all . There was 10 hooks there and 1 more by the rubbish bin so old filled with cob webs & insects he said "i'll take that one . 

Tonga was very unusual about his choices he was thinking what about all the other ones but maui choosed the hook that was very old & had been used . 

Maui said "is there a price to it" , tonga said "hmm if you find an island make sure you name it after me " & maui did . 

Maui went off and went to go fishing with his hook his hook got caught into something strong , heavy & massive . It was another island he promissed tonga "if you find an island make sure you name it after me ".

So that island maui pushed out is named tonga .
